Twin Falls police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed one life Wednesday evening in the city’s east end.
Officers responded to a call on 11th Avenue East, just east of Blue Lakes Boulevard, shortly after 8 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the head at the scene, according to Lt. Steven Gassert. The man was pronounced dead.
A woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach was also located at the residence and was transported to the hospital by Magic Valley Paramedics for treatment. Her condition has not been disclosed.
Police have not released the identities of either victim.
Investigators believe the incident was isolated and contained to a single location. Police also indicated they have no outstanding suspects and have found no evidence suggesting a broader threat to the community.

This marks another shooting incident in Twin Falls within recent months. In a previous drive-by shooting, rounds struck a home and parked car before an arrest was made, highlighting ongoing public safety concerns in the area.
