Filer schools returned to normal operations Friday morning after police determined a potential threat toward the school was not credible.
The situation began with a disturbance at a nearby store. Police notified school administrators, investigated, and conducted a threat assessment. Authorities determined there was no threat to students or staff.
Surrounding communities were placed on alert while the investigation was underway. The Filer School District responded by placing all schools on a Hall Check.
