Personnel were dispatched to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Resources deployed to the fire included two overhead personnel, four engines, two dozers, a water tender, and two fire investigators — a substantial response aimed at preventing the fire from spreading further into the surrounding landscape.
Road Reopened, Public Told They Are Safe
Swan Falls Road, which had been closed during firefighting operations, was reopened Saturday night once crews gained the upper hand on the blaze. The Ada County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that people recreating in the Swan Falls area were not in the active fire zone and were considered safe.
