Resources deployed to the scene included two overhead personnel, four engines, two bulldozers, two fire investigators, and one water tender. By Saturday evening, crews had halted the fire’s spread.
Road Reopened, Public Not in Danger
Swan Falls Road, which had been closed during firefighting operations, was reopened Saturday night. The Ada County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that people recreating in the Swan Falls area were not in the active fire zone and remained safe.
Residents and visitors in the surrounding area were advised that smoke may remain visible in the region even as the immediate threat was brought under control.
