The Twin Falls High School boys and girls golf teams secured victories at the Burley Golf Invitational on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The Magic Valley schools swept both team competitions while competing against six other Idaho programs at River’s Edge Golf Club in Burley. The field included squads from Canyon Ridge, Jerome, Wood River, Mountain Home, and Minico, alongside the host Burley Bobcats.
Boys Team Results
Twin Falls posted a team total of 314 strokes to claim the boys’ title. Jerome finished second with 334 strokes, followed by Minico at 339 and Canyon Ridge at 340.
Jake Thompson led the Twin Falls individual scoring with a round of 75 (+3). James Dunn and Kaden Black each carded rounds of 79 (+7) to contribute to the team total.
In the broader field, Damon Hess of Jerome also shot 79 (+7). Kam Rutschke and Red Young from Minico matched that score with individual rounds of 79 (+7).
Girls Team Results
The Twin Falls girls team recorded a total of 337 strokes to win the event. Jerome placed second with 391 strokes, while Canyon Ridge finished third at 420 and Mountain Home posted 427.
Adrie Western led the Twin Falls individual scorers with an 82 (+10). Kolete Jenkins, Kaite Thompson, and Hadley Christensen each shot rounds of 85 (+13).
Danika Humphries of Canyon Ridge posted the lowest individual score among the listed competitors with a 75 (+3). Capreece Beilke from Jerome carded an 83 (+11).
