BOISE, Idaho — Idaho State Police are investigating a serious collision on Interstate 84 that shut down westbound lanes for roughly 13 hours over the weekend.
The incident began Saturday night, June 27, at approximately 10:25 p.m. near mile marker 67, east of Boise. A vehicle had been pulled over on the westbound shoulder when the driver stepped out of the vehicle and was struck by an oncoming westbound motorist.
The crash forced the closure of westbound lanes for about 13 hours while investigators worked the scene. Westbound lanes have since reopened as of Sunday.
Idaho State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. No further details on the condition of those involved or whether charges are pending have been released.
