Cutthroat Coffee, Old Town Deli Begin Equipment Move-In at 2nd South Market

Two new food vendors began setting up operations at Twin Falls’ 2nd South Market this week, with equipment installation underway Friday for locations expected to open later this month.

Cutthroat Coffee and Old Town Deli, both operated by three generations of the Craner, Bohannon, and Henderson families, are expanding into the downtown food hall after establishing their trailer operation last year.

Third-Generation Restaurant Family Expands

Layton Henderson, who manages Cutthroat Coffee, said the move represents a significant milestone for the family business. The family has operated restaurants across three generations, and joining 2nd South Market fulfills a long-held goal.

Cutthroat Coffee launched its trailer operation in 2024 and will continue serving customers from the Grocery Outlet parking lot while establishing the new indoor location. The coffee shop has built a following in Twin Falls over the past year.

Old Town Deli Brings Homemade Classics

Old Town Deli will mark the family’s first brick-and-mortar location in Twin Falls when it opens in the food hall. The deli will feature homemade sandwiches and traditional deli fare prepared with locally sourced ingredients.

Menu offerings will include gluten-free and low-carb options to accommodate different dietary needs, according to information from 2nd South Market.

What Comes Next

Both vendors are targeting late May openings as they complete equipment installation and final preparations. The additions will expand 2nd South Market’s food and beverage options as the downtown food hall continues building out its vendor roster.

The market is located on 2nd Avenue South in downtown Twin Falls. Cutthroat Coffee’s trailer operation will remain active in the Grocery Outlet parking lot during the transition period.
