Authorities investigating incident at Perrine Bridge

Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded to the Snake River near the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls on Tuesday evening after a person was discovered in the water.

Investigators are working to determine whether the incident was accidental or a suicide. The Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Twin Falls Fire Department, Magic Valley Paramedics, and the Jerome County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.

No additional details about the victim’s identity or condition have been released as the investigation remains ongoing.

The Perrine Bridge, which spans the Snake River Canyon in Twin Falls, has been the site of previous public safety incidents.
