CSI Softball Players Hansen and Keck Earn NJCAA All-American Honors After Historic 2026 Season

The College of Southern Idaho softball program capped one of its most accomplished seasons in program history when the NJCAA named two Golden Eagles to its All-American teams for 2026. Outfielder and hitter Adi Hansen earned first-team All-American recognition, while Rilyne Keck also received All-American honors, adding individual distinction to what had already been a banner year for the Twin Falls-based program.

A Season Built on Championships

CSI’s path to national recognition began with a dominant regular season. The Golden Eagles posted a 43-10 record, a mark that helped secure the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular-season title. The team then continued its run in the postseason, claiming the Region 19 tournament championship to punch its ticket to the NJCAA Softball National Tournament for the fifth consecutive year — a streak that underscores the program’s consistency at the national level.

Earning a berth at nationals is one thing; earning a seeded position is another. CSI entered the national tournament with the No. 13 seed, reflecting both the team’s strong win total and its conference and regional championships.

Golden Eagles Head to Alabama

CSI opened national tournament play on Monday, May 25, in Oxford, Alabama, drawing the Dodge City Conquistadors as their first-round opponent. Dodge City carried the No. 20 seed into the matchup, giving the Golden Eagles a favorable draw on paper as they sought to advance deep into the bracket.

The national tournament appearance marked another chapter in what has become a program identity: CSI softball as a consistent contender at the two-year college level. Five straight national tournament berths, back-to-back conference and regional titles in 2026, and now multiple All-Americans in a single season signal that the program is operating at one of its highest levels.

For Hansen and Keck, the All-American designations represent individual recognition earned within a team-first system. First-team All-American status for Hansen places her among the top players at her position across all NJCAA softball programs nationally — a significant achievement for a player competing out of Twin Falls.

What Comes Next

With the national tournament already underway as of late May, CSI’s 2026 postseason fortunes will be determined by how the Golden Eagles perform in Oxford. A program that has qualified for nationals five straight times knows the format and competition level well. Whether Hansen, Keck, and their teammates advanced through the bracket will be reflected in tournament results. Looking further ahead, the All-American honors earned by both players are likely to raise the program’s recruiting profile heading into the 2027 season. CSI softball has established itself as one of the premier junior college programs in the Scenic West, and the 2026 campaign — regardless of how the national tournament concluded — reinforced that standing emphatically.
