Two Twin Falls High School cheerleaders sign to compete in college

A pair of Twin Falls High School seniors will take their cheering careers beyond the Bruins program this fall, signing commitments to compete at the collegiate level.

Elly Huntsman will join the squad at Idaho State University in Pocatello, while Madison Simson will remain in Twin Falls to cheer at the College of Southern Idaho. Both athletes completed four seasons with the Twin Falls cheer program before making their college decisions official.

Athletic Director Shaun Walker praised both seniors for their leadership throughout the school year, noting they were consistently among the first to arrive at school events and set a strong example for the rest of the squad.

The signings reflect a strong finish to the spring sports season for Twin Falls High School student-athletes. Filer’s Keegan Claiborn is also heading to college competition this fall, signing to compete in meat judging at Clarendon College in Texas.

What Comes Next

Huntsman and Simson are expected to join their respective collegiate cheer programs when fall seasons begin. Twin Falls High School’s Class of 2026 graduates this spring, with both athletes among the seniors moving on from the Bruins program.
