Twin Falls County Road Reopens After Fallen Tree Topples Power Pole
A roadway in Twin Falls County has reopened following a temporary closure caused by a large tree that fell and brought down a power pole, blocking the route and prompting crews to respond to the scene.
Utility and road crews worked to clear the debris and restore access after the tree came down, severing the power pole in the process. The road was closed while crews addressed both the downed pole and the hazard posed by the fallen tree. The roadway has since been cleared and reopened to traffic.
Residents in the area should remain cautious of any lingering debris or utility work in the vicinity. Officials have not yet released information on whether power outages affected nearby homes or businesses.
The incident adds to a busy stretch of infrastructure activity across Twin Falls County. Crews recently began Phase 1 of the Burley Avenue Project in Buhl, and drivers should also be aware of temporary I-84 closures and intermittent ramp disruptions at Exit 211 currently affecting the region.
